There are many animals at our shelter looking for a great new home and a second chance. Any animal that comes into the shelter as a stray is not adoptable for up to five days. This allows owners time to locate and reclaim their lost pet. If your pet has gone missing or you have found a pet please contact the Humane Society immediately.
A typical SWCHS adoption takes 24 hours to process and prepare the new animal to be picked up. If you are traveling from out of the area to visit our adoptable pets, please call ahead. Applicants must complete the application process and meet all adoption criteria.
