Are you a passionate animal lover looking for a rewarding career? The South Wood County Humane Society has an opportunity for a reliable, professional, compassionate, and well-organized individual to join our family as an On Call Float, working some weekdays, every other weekend, and some holidays.
SWCHS relies on their wonderful volunteers. Volunteers work along our staff helping to care for our animals. Without the help of volunteers, SWCHS wouldn’t be able help over 1,000 pets each year. Your commitment of at least 4 hours a month for 6 consecutive months will help tremendously. Volunteers must be 18 years or older per insurance policy.
Volunteer applications are currently being accepted for the calendar year of 2024. We will hold more orientations in the New Year.
