Donations make it possible to provide for
the animals at our shelter. Without the kindness of individuals donating
their time and hard-earned money the shelter would not be able to
provide the quality of care we can today.
No donation is to small. Even if you only donate your aluminum
cans to the Paws to Recycle cause, every cent counts.
| Kennel Sponsor |
| Similar to the spay/neuter sponsorship program the kennel sponsorship program pays to support specifically animals that reside in that kennel. The donor's name will be placed on a sponsorship sign and hung on the kennel.

| Monetary Donations and Supplies |
| Monetary donations are always appreciated and are tax deductable. They can be made at the shelter, or by using paypal online. Care to research our organization before donating? Our financials can be found at guidestar.org. We also appreciate when individuals and companies donate supplies. In order to make these donations most affective, please view our Donations Wish List in the Related Links menu.

| Paws to Recycle (Aluminum Cans) |
| Help out the South Wood County Humane Society by donating your aluminum food and beverage cans! Aluminum Cans are collected year-round, with the recycling proceeds going towards the shelter's operating expenses. A ''CAN KENNEL'' is located outside the shelter building in the front parking lot. Cans can be dropped off at any time. All we ask is that they are left in plastic bags. The cans do NOT have to be crushed. Please pass this information on to your friends, family and workplace. We thank you for helping both the environment and the SWCHS!

| Spay/Neuter Sponsor |
A spay/neuter sponsorship program has been developed to help make the homeless animals at SWCHS more adoptable. It offers potential adopters monetary assistance to be used for the spay/neuter surgery of a shelter animal. Here is how the program works: Any person, business or organization can donate money towards a pet's spay/neuter surgery! The donor may elect to sponsor a specific animal at the shelter or allow the staff to designate an animal. The donor's name and sponsored amount will be placed on a yellow spay/neuter sponsorship sign and hung on the animal's kennel. This sign informs potenial adopters that the stated monetary amount can be used towards the animal's required spay/neuter surgery. The adopter will receive a voucher for the sponsored amount to give to their veterinarian to be used towards the cost of the animal's spay/neuter surgery.
